An Italian Passion for food: La Piadina Grand Launching

   These were the photos taken last night for the grand launching of La Piadina. In its traditional of introducing Italian Regional food, La Piadina is bringing in for the first time Tokyo-based Italian  Chef Paolo Colonello to whip up some Renaissance delight from the Veneto, Lombardy and Tuscany regions. These areas are rich in cultural and gastronomic history and the Renaissance period was a particularly exciting for arts and food, with Leonardo Da Vinci and Boticelli leading the Italian pack of creative individuals who flourished during this era.


     For the La Piadina at Solaris One Building, he will also prepare an exciting mix of Italian Appetizers that will go hand in hand with the store's selection of fine Italian Red and White wines. 


     "We wanted to create a place for people to unwind at night, have a taste of different kinds of food in small portions and come away relaxed and satisfied. We see La Piadina-Solaris One store as a short-walk away, no hassle stop-over for the residents and corporate types in Legaspi Village to enjoy great Italian food and chill before heading home", says Giorgio Matera, owner of La Piadina.


     Thanks Khaezel Espiritu of Openrice for the invite and the people behind La Piadina for a very successful launching, I enjoyed so much, the party was great, the food was sumptuous and the service crew was very warm and friendly. I highly commend them! It was nice to meet the owners behind La Piadina.

     My haul when I went to Greenhills Shopping center. I promise not to splurge myself on buying but I just can't help it. I need these!! haha, what do you think? I'm not a fan of RED, but now, I'm obsessed with them. I just can't pair something RED, ex. Clothes, Shoes, Accesory, because it doesn't complement my skin tone, I don't have a fair skin that's why RED is out of my league :)) But look at me hihi <3 Fell in love with this, super nakipagtawaran pa ako (haggling). What do you think of these loves? <3 I needed a variety on my accessories so I bought it!

      After shopping, went to Happy Lemon of course with Brian <3

     That's it, just a short post for you loves! I know this is a solemn week for us guys, time to reflect the love of God. I miss my family, just went out, had shopping and early dinner, went to Laguna to check out our house and to Cavite to visit our relatives their on my father's side :)

Smart C+: Thirst Quencher, Life saver

     Okay, I really wanted to do this post, I will share to you my EVER FAVORITE drink that makes me a Smart C+ addict :) I first tasted this when we went to a concert in MOA grounds, my boyfriend bought me one  which is Pomelo Grapefruit flavored, from the first time that I've tasted it, gaaaah, it was HEAVEN *clouds*lights*trumpets. It was love at first drink teehee :) 

     By the way, in case you don't know, Smart C+ is a product form Oishi, a company that is known for creating that sumptuous prawn crackers either spicy or original. It contains 320% of the RDA of Vitamin C approx.250 ml, (jaw dropped) more than a hundred percent ayt?  A dose of your daily Vitamin C needs and there's more, you get to enjoy it because of their 3 thirst quenching line of flavors: Lemon squeeze, Orange crush and my *FAVE Pomelo grapefruit!!

     I swear, I love this to bits! <3 I can drink up to 5 bottles of these a day, NO KIDDING :) I prefer the bigger one, which is the 500ml. I also buy one when I go to school, before my exam to energize and every time I eat, it is my panulak haha :p I barely go home without buying one from the Ministop, although it's costly because it's a 24-hour convenience store, it's totally worth it ( sabi nga nila "Value for your Money"). My boyfriend do knows how to make me happy by buying one. He already knows my favorite haha, I wish I could swim on these, yeah I'm O.A just like that but swear I really love this, I could sell a sack of plastic bottles of Smart C+,  you guys should try one, after all it's good for your health, so instead on indulging yourselves to unhealthy drinks, go try something new, something fresh, something out of the box whoa* haha. ENOUGH SAID. :)

      I remember I was tweeting, that was past 12 AM when I got thirsty, since it's just a walking distance, I barged out the door just to get my hands on these, imagine my dismantlement when I got to ministop and Pomelo Grapefruit was out of stock, I could be nearly hysterical, of course, without leaving, I bought the Lemon Squeeze flavor and thought that "Hey, it's also good" might try this flavor sometime haha next of course to Pomelo Grapefruit, sorry for the repeated idea about this post. I just want you guys to try these, I promise you, it's my thirst quencher, my life saver yeee* cheesy :p

Wish I could win a box, or fill up my closet with these* Guys help me haha :))

Catching Up

     Okay, I know, I know...cliche as it may seem, it's as if I have abandoned my precious portal, sorry guys :( One reason why I couldn't blog these past few weeks, or months (can't imagine I have died in the blogosphere)?? The heck, I don't have any camera which mean no pictures for my blog to keep you posted. It seems necessary, an essential that when you have a blog, you need a camera. WHY? Of course blogs without pictures is lifeless, dull, way too boooring :| You get my point lovelies? :( I wish I could buy one, I don't really have the money, I promised myself that from now on, I'm going to open a Peso savings account so as to save and keep track of my money, way to go for a 19 year old student like me,you might consider doing it also :)  C'mon, i'm sure y'all agree with me that money is hard to find but easy to let go, yah know what I mean don't you?


     Anyways, I just wanted to share with you guys the reason behind my Blog Title, it's because it just happened that after a long time of not spending time with each other, even though we see each other in the classroom, it's really hard to find a time wherein you could just sit down, think for a while, spend the rest of the evening pigging and pouring our hearts out, it's been waaaaaay too long the last time we did that. I have contemplated things over, yeah, my super friends we're so busy, gaah, time flies so fast like a blink of an eye, next school year, we'll be 4th year college, much more busier with our own organization, studies and the like. And then here comes Graduation, the exit from all the hardships in school :P It makes me more nostalgic that it was only a glimpse when I first stepped into College, everything was new, expectations are bound to set, you never knew what you're getting.

     Enough with the druhmah :)) I just wanted to share a pic with you, me and my other super friends, (P.S we're not complete and we're planning about something or rather doing something that will make us more aware of each other's life haha after the final exams week this week, I'm all geared up and looking forward to it!!)

     Sorry I smell horrible on my look, napaglipasan na ako ng ligo nean eh, 7:30 A.M ba naman ang pasok ko. :)) Sorry pics are limited, I think there we're only 3 shots, and this was the most decent pic that I could share to you my lovelies, pardon me for that ;p Oh the joys of being together with your friends is one of the precious moments that you will forever treasure and will surely keep you missing it. It dawned upon me that a few years ago, I was just a normal teenager, experiencing a lot, now I didn't even feel that I was growing, how much more when I turned 25 years old, I can spend hours thinking and reminiscing, oh time, please slow down a little bit...SIGH..

     Okay, that's enough now :)) Sorry for a lost blog post.... to my dear readers, have you ever caught yourself and pondered that "Hey, I'm so busy, time flies, I need to catch-up to the people around me, I need to catch-up with myself."? I want to know your thoughts about it, sometimes we should stop and reflect, think about how we are doing thing and at life and at the end of the day, use it as a motivation to keep your hopes up, cherish every moment and never regret anything, use it as a lesson to keep us going. ENJOY LIFE! :))

Posh Nails Experience

     I have never tried to pamper myself,  I don't go to spa's, massage clinics or even salons to have a pedicure or manicure, I just go to salons for my hair to be treated, I don't know the feeling of having a facial or anything that's stress relieving. So when I learned that I am one of the winners of the SM Marikina Posh nails giveaway, I was so ecstatic :)

     Here's a backlog of my Posh nails experience a few weeks ago, I was picked as the first winner of the "12 Days of Christmas Giveaway" of Posh nails SM Marikina. I won a foot spoiler and so I and Brian went to Sm Marikina to claim my prize. Actually Marikina is very far from where I live, which is Sampaloc Manila, but Brian was nice enough to accompany me because he lives in Marikina and is very familiar of the place :)

     After an hour or so, I saw the results and it was awesome, sorry I don't have the pics of the finished product haha! These pictures were taken through a cellphone camera hence the quality. Actually I had to choose on earth colors but then opted to try the red violet and disco glitters of O.P.I nail lacquers. I don't have slippers so ate requested me to buy one, she offered me a Posh nails slippers made customize from Banana Peel worth Php 150, not bad, I just went in without having to pay for the services so I bought them :).

     

      My feet smelled good and was soft haha :) I don't really own the most beautiful pair of feet but I really wanted to take care of it as much as I can because gorgeous feet fits best on the most gorgeous pair of shoes :)) I was really happy because I myself had tried something like this. I promise not to deprive myself and took an oath that every once in a while to indulge myself on some pampering services . We all should ladies! It's self rewarding to see yourself relax and letting all the stress off of you, after all, it's not bad to beautify, it's our nature right? OF COURSE IT IS!!  :)) Have you tried any pampering services? Please do tell me <3
